The Bwer Advantage for HDPE Electrofusion Fittings with Barcode

Discover why Bwer Pipes is recognized as the leading and most trusted manufacturer in Iraq.

Barcode Automation

Equipped with weather-proof barcodes containing welding parameters (voltage, heating time, cooling time). Eliminates human programming errors.

Embedded Copper Heating Coils

High-grade copper coils provide uniform thermal energy distribution inside the fusion zone, ensuring homogeneous jointing.

Ideal for Hard-to-Reach Trenches

Requires minimal space. Perfect for welding pipes inside narrow trenches, under utility lines, or in vertical configurations.

Integrated Smart Indicators

Features pop-up test pins that rise when fusion pressure is reached, allowing visual confirmation of successful welding.

Step-by-Step Field Guidelines

1. Scrape and Clean

Scrape the outer oxidation layer of the pipe surface (0.2mm depth). Wipe clean using isopropyl alcohol.

2. Mark and Insert

Mark the insertion depth on the pipe. Insert pipe into the electrofusion coupler.

3. Scan and Connect

Secure the pipe with clamps to prevent movement. Scan barcode. Attach terminal leads from the EF welder.

4. Fusion Cycle

Start the welder. Monitor pop-up indicator pins. Allow joint to cool completely before unclamping.

Quality Control & Lab Testing

Manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility in Kalar, Garmian. Tested on every single batch.

Peel Decohesion Test

Crushes fittings to ensure the PE-to-PE interface does not separate.

Resistance Tolerance Test

Verifies internal coil resistance is within +/-5% tolerances.

Burst Testing

Subjected to high pressure surges to verify zero joint failure.

Oxidation Layer Verification

Confirms that raw material is free of pre-mature surface oxidation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions regarding implementation in Iraqi governorates.

Q: Why is scraping the pipe mandatory?

A: PE pipes develop an oxide layer due to oxygen exposure. Scraping removes this layer, allowing the polymer chains to fuse properly.

Q: Can these be used for natural gas lines?

A: Yes, Bwer EF fittings are certified to EN 1555 / ISO 4437 gas distribution standards.

Q: What happens if the barcode is damaged?

A: Our fittings have backup numbers printed under the barcode, which can be typed into the welding machine manually.
