Step-by-Step Field Guidelines
1. Cut and Prep
Cut PE pipe square. Chamfer spigot end slightly to protect the O-ring from damage during insertion.
2. Nut Loosening
Loosen the blue PP nut without removing it from the fitting body.
3. Pipe Insertion
Push the pipe through the grip ring and O-ring until it hits the internal shoulder stop.
4. Nut Tightening
Tighten the blue nut firmly. Hand-tighten for sizes up to 32mm; use a wrench for larger sizes.
Quality Control & Lab Testing
Manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility in Kalar, Garmian. Tested on every single batch.
Pull-Out Resistance Test
Applies high axial pull force to verify that split ring grips the pipe firmly.
Hydrostatic Pressure Check
Verifies seal does not leak at 24 Bar static pressure (1.5x PN16).
Impact Strength Test
Drop-weight checks to verify PP housing does not crack at low temperatures.
Potable Water Compatibility
Validates that NBR O-rings do not release toxic chemicals.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions regarding implementation in Iraqi governorates.
Q: Can these be buried under ground?
A: Yes, PP compression fittings are approved for underground burial, but must be protected from heavy direct vehicle traffic.
Q: Are they compatible with PPR pipes?
A: No, PP compression fittings are designed specifically for PE (Polyethylene) pipes. PPR requires thermal welding.
Q: What happens if the O-ring is dry?
A: We recommend lubricating the spigot with clean water or silicone grease to ease insertion.
