The Bwer Advantage for PVC-U Pressure Pipe

Discover why Bwer Pipes is recognized as the leading and most trusted manufacturer in Iraq.

Lead-Free Material Formulation

Bwer PVC-U pressure pipes are produced using eco-friendly organotin or calcium-zinc stabilizers, containing zero lead. Certified safe for drinking water.

High Pressure Ratings (Up to PN16)

Engineered to withstand high internal water hammer pressures. Suitable for industrial pumps, agricultural mains, and municipal distribution.

Chemical inertness

Highly resistant to corrosion from acids, bases, and salts. Will not rust or scale in contact with high-salinity agricultural well water.

Rigid Structural Integrity

Maintains high rigidity, requiring fewer support hangers in commercial facility installations. Ideal for riser pipelines in multi-story projects.

Step-by-Step Field Guidelines

1. Cutting and Chamfering

Cut pipe square and deburr. Apply a 15-degree chamfer to the spigot end to prevent seal displacement.

2. Primer and Cement

For solvent jointing: Clean joint surfaces. Apply Bwer-approved PVC primer, then apply solvent cement evenly.

3. Insertion

Push the pipe immediately into the fitting socket without twisting. Hold firm for 30 seconds.

4. Curing

Allow joint to cure for a minimum of 2 hours before pressure testing.

Quality Control & Lab Testing

Manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility in Kalar, Garmian. Tested on every single batch.

Hydrostatic Pressure Test

Short term burst test and 1000-hour resistance test to verify wall strength.

Vicat Softening Test

Confirms the pipe maintains stability at high system temperatures.

Impact Strength (TIR)

Ensures the pipe wall has high impact resilience at 0°C.

Flattability Test

Compresses ring section to verify material ductility and lack of cracking.

Frequently Asked Questions
