Bwer uPVC Drainage & Sewage Pipe
Corrosion-Proof, High-Stiffness Gravity Sewer Pipe Systems for Municipal Infrastructure Across Iraq. Certified globally for Iraq's infrastructure projects. Trusted by top ministries and Garmian utility contractors.
The Bwer Advantage for uPVC Drainage & Sewage Pipe
Discover why Bwer Pipes is recognized as the leading and most trusted manufacturer in Iraq.
Immune to Hydrogen Sulfide Gas
Iraqi sewage lines generate high levels of hydrogen sulfide (H2S), which converts to corrosive sulfuric acid. Bwer uPVC pipes are chemically inert and immune to acid attacks, unlike concrete or ductile iron.
High Ring Stiffness (SN4 & SN8)
Formulated to withstand high soil overburden and heavy traffic loads. Bwer uPVC pipes maintain circular profile and deflection limits under municipal road crossings.
Leak-Proof Elastomeric Push-Fit Sockets
Features factory-fitted elastomeric sealing rings inside the socket. Allows rapid, weather-independent connection that absorbs thermal expansion and minor soil shifting.
Smooth Hydraulic Bore (C = 150)
Extremely smooth internal surface prevents solid build-up, sludge accumulation, and scaling. Maximizes flow capacity and reduces slope requirements.

Step-by-Step Field Guidelines
1. Trench Excavation
Excavate trench to specified slope. Compact the trench bed to prevent uneven pipe settlement.
2. Sealing Ring Check
Clean socket groove and rubber ring. Lubricate the spigot end using non-petroleum pipe lube.
3. Push-Fit Insertion
Align spigot with socket. Push the pipe home manually or using a lever until it reaches the insertion mark.
4. Backfilling
Place sidefill material around the pipe and compact. Cover with soil backfill up to road grade.
Quality Control & Lab Testing
Manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility in Kalar, Garmian. Tested on every single batch.
Resistance to Internal Pressure
ISO 1167 validation verifying pipe does not burst or leak under short-term hydrostatic pressure tests.
Impact Resistance (Round-the-Clock)
EN 744 drop-weight impact test at 0°C to verify pipe wall strength and crack resistance.
Dichloromethane Resistance
ISO 9852 immersion test to confirm complete PVC gelation and material homogeneity.
Deflection Testing
Ensures ring stiffness limits conform to SN4/SN8 ratings under compression.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions regarding implementation in Iraqi governorates.
Q: Can Bwer uPVC pipes be used for pressure lines?
A: These gravity pipes are optimized for non-pressure drainage. For pressure lines, please refer to Bwer PVC-U Pressure Pipes.
Q: How does heat affect uPVC pipes during installation?
A: PVC has thermal expansion. Our push-fit rubber ring sockets allow up to 10mm of expansion/contraction per joint, protecting the line from buckling.
Q: What is the expected lifetime of Bwer uPVC pipes in Iraq?
A: Bwer uPVC sewer pipes are designed to last over 100 years, completely outliving concrete sewers which corrode in 15-20 years.
