The Bwer Advantage for HDPE Bundle Pipe Microducts

Discover why Bwer Pipes is recognized as the leading and most trusted manufacturer in Iraq.

Low-Friction Ribbed Interior

The inner wall has longitudinal ribs and a co-extruded low-friction silicone layer. Maximizes fiber blow-in distance up to 2000 meters.

Protective Outer Over-Sheath

Microduct bundles are wrapped in a tough HDPE outer sheath, providing high crush resistance and protection against backfill stones.

Easy Routing & Branching

Ducts are color-coded for easy identification. Branch joints can be made inside inspection vaults using push-fit connectors.

Saves Future Trenching Costs

Allows additional fiber optic cables to be blown in later as network load increases, eliminating the need to dig new trenches.

Step-by-Step Field Guidelines

1. Trench Excavation

Excavate trench along network path. Lay a clean sand bed if laying standard microducts directly.

2. Unrolling

Unroll the microduct bundle from the drum into the trench. Keep tension uniform.

3. Connecting ducts

Join microduct segments using plastic push-fit couplers. Ensure a perfectly gas-tight seal.

4. Fiber Blowing

Connect cable blowing machine. Inject compressed air (10-15 Bar) to blow the fiber optic cable through.

Quality Control & Lab Testing

Manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility in Kalar, Garmian. Tested on every single batch.

Internal Air Tightness

Pressurizes microduct sections to verify zero air loss at 15 Bar.

Crush Performance Test

Checks load capacity limits to ensure ducts do not collapse under heavy backfills.

Slide Friction Coefficient

Measures friction limits of the internal silicone layer.

Visual Outer Inspection

Ensures color-coded stripes and sheath surface are free of extrusion voids.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions regarding implementation in Iraqi governorates.

Q: What is the maximum blow-in length?

A: Depending on duct path and cable weight, blowing runs of 1000m to 2000m are typical.

Q: Can they be laid in rock trenches?

A: Bundles with thick over-sheaths are suitable for direct soil burial, but rocky trenches should have sand bedding.

Q: What sizes are typical?

A: Common microduct sizes are 10/8mm, 12/10mm, and 14/10mm (Outer/Inner Diameter).
